r-WASD Digital Keyboard Joystick GUI v2.0
This is a major update package that includes:
- You can save, delete, export, and import profiles.
- Adjust the joystick dead zone.
- You can select "No function" for unused buttons.
IMPORTANT! It is only compatible with the latest firmware. from 1.5.0-.
As the first step, uninstall the previous version of r-MAPPER, then, download the latest firmware. Extract it to a location of your choice. Next, download and install version 2.0 of r-MAPPER. Launch the program. You will receive an error message indicating that the device's firmware is outdated and needs to be updated. Click the "Cancel" button.
In the "Firmware Update Local" menu, locate and load the previously extracted hex file, then click the "Open" button. In the window that appears, click the "Yes". The update will complete in a short time (about 30-60 seconds).
Once the update is finished, a message will appear asking you to save the current key layout as a new profile. You can agree and save it under any name you choose. From now on, after every change, the program will ask whether you want to save it as a new profile or overwrite the existing one. There is no limit to the number of profiles. It is important to note that the profiles are saved to your computer. The device will always retain only the last loaded profile, which will remain even after the device is removed (for example, if used on another computer). With the export function, all profiles stored on the hard drive can be saved, and they can be restored with the import function.
