-Completely rewritten keyboard library – Button response time has been reduced to just 2 milliseconds for each press
-Introduction of Consumer Keys – Media and browser controls can now be assigned to any button, along with several mouse functions
-Macro capable: 16 buttons (except the joystick) can now be assigned macro sequences of up to 5 steps, with customizable durations ranging from 2ms to 9999ms per step — and even parallel execution is supported.
-Lot of minor bug fixes
⚠️ Please note: Previous profiles are not compatible with the new version!
You can convert your old V3 GUI XML profile file to the new JSON format using the following converter page. The resulting file can then be imported into the V4 GUI: https://r-wasd.com/profile-converter
Step-by-step process:
1. Uninstall the previous version of r-MAPPER.
2. Download and install r-MAPPER V4.
3. Launch the application. The info bar may display a message about an incompatible device — this can be safely ignored.
4. Download the appropriate 2.0.x firmware for your device.
5. Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
6. In the GUI, click the “Firmware update” button and browse to the extracted firmware file.
7. Start the update process. The update takes approximately 35 seconds.
8. Once complete, we recommend performing a “Reset to factory” to fully initialize the new firmware.
Your device is now ready to use!
